Proxmox in your business: how we integrate it
We use Proxmox VE in most of the virtualisation projects we manage, from consolidating multiple physical servers to migrations away from proprietary platforms — and it is also the hypervisor our Hector Cluster runs on. What makes a project succeed is method more than the technology itself: we plan the migration in waves, verify the rollback before switching off the previous environment, and keep supporting the infrastructure after go-live, not just during installation.
Alongside it we deploy Proxmox Backup Server for native backup of virtual machines and containers: incremental backups, block-level deduplication and AES-256 encryption, with no subscription-based third-party backup software involved.
Frequently asked questions
Proxmox or VMware: why are more and more businesses migrating?
Many businesses turn to Proxmox after the price increases of proprietary platforms: no platform licensing costs, native incremental and deduplicated backup with Proxmox Backup Server, high-availability clusters and built-in snapshots. We manage the migration in waves, with no production downtime.
