TN Solutions Is a Carbon-Free Company

TN Solutions is officially a "carbon free" company, ever since solar photovoltaic panels with battery storage started operating on the roofs of our offices.

This is the most efficient solution currently available on the market from an energy-saving point of view: further proof of how much attention we pay to green philosophy and the need to focus on environmental sustainability.

Reaching this milestone matters a great deal to us, because it means we have managed to neutralise and eliminate our carbon dioxide emissions, which — as is well known — are among the biggest contributors to global warming and climate change.

When we talk about "carbon neutral", we mean exactly this: zero emissions. Carbon neutrality is a concept that applies across the financial, economic and industrial sectors alike.

Our Commitment to the Environment

By 2050, according to European Union targets, businesses will need to reach the goal of climate neutrality — in other words, becoming carbon neutral: effectively bringing carbon dioxide emissions down to zero.

This goal is part of the strategy known as the European Green Deal, in line with the Paris Agreement and the EU's commitment to fighting climate change and driving decarbonisation.

In our own small way, we wanted to do our part too: for TN Solutions, being carbon neutral means being able to limit the emissions that reach the atmosphere while offsetting them at the same time.

How Do TN Solutions' Solar Panels with Battery Storage Work?

This isn't a marketing label: on the roof of our office in Melzo (MI), Italy, we run an 18.24 kW photovoltaic system paired with a 10 kW storage battery, which we monitor in real time through the Fronius Solar.web portal.

Thanks to the solar photovoltaic panels with battery storage installed on the roof of the building housing TN Solutions' offices, we can harness the sun's rays to generate free, clean energy — even at night.

That's exactly what a photovoltaic storage battery is designed to do: the evolving technology behind this system means we no longer need to draw power from the grid, because we generate it ourselves through our own photovoltaic installation.

At any hour of the day or night, we have all the energy we need to run our computers and servers, light our offices, and cover every other need that underpins our daily work.

We're able to make optimal use of the electricity generated during the day, because our system is equipped with a storage battery capable of holding the current that isn't used immediately.

The System, in Numbers

According to the Fronius Solar.web monitoring portal (data as of 7 August 2026):

• Installed capacity: 18.24 kW
• Storage system: 10 kW battery
• Location: Melzo (MI), Italy — the same site as our offices
• In operation for: about three years (since 2023)
• Total output over these three years: 60.80 MWh
• Output in 2026: 12.83 MWh

Why Does TN Solutions Focus on Climate Neutrality?

Reaching the important goal of climate neutrality matters to us, not only to meet the commitments set out in the Paris Agreement on climate, but also as a sign of responsibility towards our clients.

Like many other private businesses and public organisations, we wanted to give a clear, concrete demonstration of what can be done in the fight against climate change. Climate neutrality also helps stabilise global temperatures and stop them from continuing to rise.

Until the goal of Net Zero Emissions is reached — the complete elimination of net greenhouse gas emissions generated by human activity — the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will keep increasing, meaning global warming won't be adequately tackled.

A Responsible Climate Strategy

That's why we wanted to build and develop a climate strategy based on responsibility — one capable of making a significant contribution to the fight against climate change and its consequences.

Private businesses play a leading role in this effort, and that's why we feel involved and duty-bound to do our part. For the solar panels installed on the roof of our building, we chose the best technology available to guarantee top performance.

That's why we're glad to share this news and show that it is possible to take concrete action in support of climate neutrality.

To be precise, climate neutrality is the condition in which anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions — those generated by human activity — are balanced out over a given period of time by equivalent absorption, removal or offsetting.
